Due to randomness, I started looking for movies from the 80’s here on Tumblr and stumbled upon a sweet-ass, giggly and hormones-rager movie that is Sixteen Candles. Molly Ringwald, one of the actresses from the film, The Breakfast Club (!one of my favorites!), also stars in this one as Samantha Baker, the troubled teenager whose sixteenth birthday is forgotten by her family. Its as simple and real as it gets, no last minute twists, no complications and I LOVE THAT! No matter where you look at it, you’ll always end up falling in love with the characters and the film. Wait, wait, wait! Speaking of characters… 

          Jake Ryan, played by Michael Schoeffling, is too gorgeous to be real :”>. I’m seriously considering the name, Jake Ryan, for my future son.

          John Cusack didn’t look too bad himself! He was real cute, then! :>

          The ending left a stupid grin on my face!!! I got creepy, though :)))))) I was literally smiling from ear to ear until I fell asleep that night. Even continued giggling under the covers. It couldn’t be more perfect, lovelier, or sweeter than that. Every girl needs to watch this! We all deserve to feel as good as Sam did! We all deserve a Jake Ryan!
